I made a payment, why was I charged interest?

Here are a few reasons interest may be applied to your account.

If you're unclear why you were charged interest or you believe you were charged in error, please reach out to support@caary.com

1. You didn't pay the full amount due

If you are a member of our Credit program, you are required to pay at least your minimum statement balance every month. If you are a member of our Charge program, you are required to pay your full statement balance every month.

Any outstanding balance after the payment due date is subject to interest charges.

You can confirm your minimum due by checking your statement every month.

2. Your payment was late

Payments that are made even one day late are applicable to interest charges. Since payments can take up to four business days to be applied to your account, we recommend paying your statement as soon as possible every month.

3. Your payment was made via cheque, e-transfer or an alternate method

We recommend paying your statement from your bank's online portal. If you prefer to pay via an alternate method, please note that it will take longer for the payment to be applied to your account.
