Why is my payment not being applied?

If you recently made a payment toward your account and don't see it reflected in the admin portal, here are three possible reasons:

1. Payment hasn't been posted yet.

If you made a payment via your financial institution's online portal, it can take up to 4 days to be applied, depending on the time of day the payment was made and your financial institution. 

2. You entered your credit card number instead of your account number. 

When adding Caary Capital as a payee in your online banking portal, you must enter your 16-digit account number (beginning with 9413). Here's how to find your account number.

Note that your account number is not the same as your 16-digit credit card number. If you entered your credit card number instead of your account number, rest assured that the payment will still reach your account, but it will take longer. In this case, please allow 8 days for funds to reach your account.

Make sure to correct your account number in your financial institution's online portal to avoid delays on future payments. 

3. You paid using an alternative method.

The fastest and most reliable way to pay your statement is through your financial institution's online portal. If you paid using an alternative method (e.g., mailing a cheque, Telpay, paid at a bank branch etc.), please send an email to support@caary.com with the following information:

  • Your account number
  • Your method of payment
  • The date the payment was made
  • The amount of the payment

Our team will reach out to you shortly with more information. We will likely still receive your payment, but it might take longer.
